Standard Horizon VHF-FM marine radio telephone range is one of the world's most popular brands. Both fixed mount and handheld models are stocked and all models are available here fully type approved to NZ Standards, ensuring performance you can count on.
Three fixed mount waterproof mobile models cover all likely marine applications plus two models integrated into Chart Plotters. This allows for the minimum package size of VHF-FM radio and Chart Plotter in any small dash areas. All fixed mount models have exceptionally clear displays that are backlit for night time use. DSC function, scanning and second station remote microphone options are standard on all models.
In addition, Standard Horizon has a premium range of VHF-FM waterproof and floating handheld radios with a host of features not seen in many other brands. These include huge LCD displays with large digits for enhanced visibility. High battery capacity on all models with either nickel metal hydride on Li-ion batteries. Exceptional audio performance gives reception you can understand. All transmit on 5W/2.5W/1W switchable rRF power to be heard when needed.
All three high end models are fully floating, with built in SOS strobe lights. One model includes Bluetooth capability and the top end premium model has a 12 channel GPS built in with auto broadcast of lat/long and vessel ID.
